Ye Are the Temple (2 Corinthians 6) | Pastor Kevin Sepulveda

2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit to be used by the Lord for his service and work. This should drive us to seperate ourselves from wicked and worldly associations in order to maintain a close walk with God.

The Synagogue of Satan | Matthew Curnow

Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

The Israel of God is the same in the new testament as it was in the old testament; both Israelites and gentiles that were saved by grace through faith. Salvation is by circumcision of the heart and not by circumcision of the flesh.

Ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5) | Pastor Kevin Sepulveda

2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

We are ambassadors for Christ to bring reconciliation between God and sinful man. Therefore we need to be mindful that our life is to represent our eternal home in the kingdom of heaven.

Shine Out of Darkness (2 Corinthians 4) | Pastor Kevin Sepulveda

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

God has given us the glorious gospel and the light of knowledge to shine in this world of darkness. The hope for our nation is the gospel, your choice is to either help the blind to see or to hide the gospel to those who are lost.

The Life of King Manasseh | Jason Parkin

2 Chronicles 33:12 And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,

King Manasseh was a wicked king that performed evil acts against the nation of Judah. His story contains lessons we can learn and it also highlights Gods mercy towards the wicked who humbles himself.

Fleshly Wisdom and Godly Wisdom | Callum Miechel

1 Corinthians 1:20-21 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

We all have fleshly wisdom but only the saved have access to Godly wisdom. You can be the wisest person in the flesh, but the babe in Christ will have greater wisdom available in the word of God.

There Is Liberty (2 Corinthians 3) | Pastor Kevin Sepulveda

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

The old testament was replaced by the new testament since the death of Jesus Christ. Yet even in old testament days the future fulfilment of Christ’s shed blood was the only way to obtain salvation by grace through faith.

Forgive Him (2 Corinthians 2) | Pastor Kevin Sepulveda

2 Corinthians 2:7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.

A man who has faced church discipline should be forgiven and comforted once he has repented and apologised for his grievous sin. A lack of forgiveness will give an opportunity for Satan to attack the church.

New Life | Pastor Kevin Sepulveda

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

When you believe on Christ you are given new life through the new man which is born of God. Yet what is commonly forgotten is that in the flesh, the old man is still present fighting against the new.
