Luke 12:21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
You will not be taking your paycheck and material possessions into heaven. God desires that we would be rich toward him by prioritising the kingdom of God.
Psalm 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
The kings and rulers of this world seek to do away with the laws of God and his righteous judgement. But God has a plan to set his own king over the nations who will rule with a rod of iron.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
In the bible there are seemingly contradictory statements made about the kingdom of God. This often leads to bad doctrine such as allocating different kingdoms for different “peoples” of God, or rejecting a physical literal kingdom to come.
