Immigration in Light of The Bible | Samuel Osborne

Exodus 22:21 Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Many have been influenced in their understanding of immigration based on government policies or the news media. We should seek to prove all things from the bible and understand what God says about immigration.

The Seed of Abraham (Genesis 12) | Pastor Kevin Sepulveda

Genesis 12:7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.

The unconditional promises and blessings which were given to Abraham would be fully realised in his seed, Jesus Christ. All who are in Jesus have been made heirs of the same.

Men’s Leadership Class – Sermon 2

1 Timothy 3:1-2 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

Having the right desire is important in your preparations to hold the office of a bishop. It is not about being served, but to be the one who serves the brethren.

So Great Faith (Luke 7) | Pastor Kevin Sepulveda

Luke 7:9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

In this sermon we see how Christ responds to those who place their faith on him. Faith to be saved and have their sins forgiven as well as faith on his ability to perform miracles.

Golden Calf Religion | Jason Parkin

Revelation 10:10-11 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

The entire bible must be preached, the sweet as well as the bitter. The golden calf is an example of Israel not receiving the bitterness of God’s word, choosing to create for themselves a false religion of sweetness.

The Synagogue of Satan | Matthew Curnow

Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

The Israel of God is the same in the new testament as it was in the old testament; both Israelites and gentiles that were saved by grace through faith. Salvation is by circumcision of the heart and not by circumcision of the flesh.

Lest He Fall (1 Corinthians 10) | Pastor Kevin Sepulveda

1 Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Old Testament Israel experienced great blessings through the Lord’s deliverance, yet the nation would often be cursed for their great sins. We are to take heed to these examples lest we also fall.
