Luke 17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
Jesus taught things which may appear impossible to accomplish. Asking the Lord to increase our faith gives us the ability to be a forgiving servant and understand the judgement of God.

Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
The parable of the prodigal son is a great illustration of a backslidden christian that has turned his heart away from God and toward harlots. God is always seeking for his children to repent from their wickedness and be returned home.
