The absence of gentleness in your character will bring unnecessary strife into your life. King David was able to acknowledge his great achievements in light of the gentleness of God.

Unqualified pastors leave a path of destruction of scattered and hurting flock. The office should be held by one who seeks to strengthen God’s people putting aside fleshly ambitions.

1 Timothy 3:1-2 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
Having the right desire is important in your preparations to hold the office of a bishop. It is not about being served, but to be the one who serves the brethren.
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
The Olivet Discourse is a passage of scripture that is not taught by many churches. Yet Jesus tells us to pay attention to the signs of the end times that we may be found to be a prepared and watchful people.
